Currently, we sell Tahoma 31 Bermuda, Tiftuf Bermuda, & Flatland Fescue.

It is important to keep sod damp for the first 2 weeks after installing, then go to a normal watering schedule of at least 1 inch per week.

We recommend using a fertilizer that is equal parts NPK (ie- 13-13-13). We recommend fertilizing every 6 weeks during the spring and summer months.

To ensure the best outcome it is recommended to till and grade your yard before laying sod.

3-4 weeks after installation or when roots are established

Grass will stress when it is first cut, this is normal.

440 sf pallet weighs about 2,000 lbs and a 540 sf pallet weighs around 2200 lbs.

Make sure your yard has been established for a year before scalping. We recommend scalping your yard in March.

Retail pallets are 440 sf and wholesale pallets are 540 sf. We are also able to customize pallet sizes to meet the needs of our customers.

You will need at least a ¾ ton pickup to carry a pallet of sod safely.

Our sod comes free from weeds from the farm. When installing sod it is very important to start clean. Make sure all weeds have been sprayed with a herbicide before installation, and it is our recommendation to not use any pre- emergents before installing the sod.

Yesterday. In all seriousness, we harvest our sod year round! You can lay our grass at any point in the year as long as you take the correct steps in prepping the ground, watering, fertilizing, etc.

Watering grass thoroughly 24-48 hours before a frost or freeze helps protect them by insulating the roots and preventing soil dehydration.

• We can sprig any of our hybrids! The advantage is you get hybrids planted in your yard over a seeded variety (hydro seed). 

• This will provide you with far superior turf quality than seeded varieties.

• Our varieties use 1/2-1/3 of the water of seeded varieties. 

• Cost efficient for large spaces! 

• Yard must be 25,000 sq ft or more with an open area for us to be able to operate our machinery. 

• Typically takes about 90 days to cover completely.

Sprigging is where small pieces of Bermuda Grass clippings (sprigs), are planted into soil to grow a new lawn. These sprigs, chopped from our sod, are broadcast over an area and pressed into the ground, where they take root and spread, offering a cost-effective alternative to sodding.
